As a Morgan Sindall Trainee or Apprentice you learn your trade on the job, working towards a nationally-recognised qualification while you earn. Your college fees and travel costs will be covered, and you’ll be paid for the work you do.

We’ve designed our programmes to help you get the most out of the time you spend with us. Over two years you’ll be constantly helped and supported by an experienced member of staff who’ll act as your mentor.

Your development

Our programmes are designed to build the practical abilities, academic development and interpersonal skills that will help you progress naturally. Starting with an introduction to the business and its values, you’ll learn about how successful people operate and how you can make best use of your skills and attributes. The programmes are broken down into three elements:

Management development, consisting of five modules that will make you more effective in solving problems, influencing others, and presenting your work. You’ll learn how to make an impact on the business right from the outset.

Professional development, the structured professional training scheme appropriate to your job role or discipline.

Ambassador duties, where you’ll act as an ambassador and represent Morgan Sindall at careers events.

Good learning isn’t about memorising facts for the sake of it; that’s why our programmes are interactive and teach you the skills you need to get your career off to a flying start.

Applications should be made via our online system and include an up-to-date CV and covering letter. Your details will be reviewed and if you are successful you will be invited to interview.

Academic requirements are specified on each vacancy. In addition, applicants need to be committed, have a passion for a career in the construction industry, be prepared for further study and realistic about the amount of work that is required.

Our trainees and apprentices study a wide range of qualifications ranging from accredited degrees and HNCs through to NVQs and professional qualifications.

Yes, as long as you have a valid 'right to work' document.

We have many projects across the UK so it’s likely there will be a location to suit you.
